This is a really good game but I wouldn't consider it a party game since it's only 4 players (unless your parties are only 4 people in which case this would be a great party game!)

If you're looking for a good party game, I would suggest Just One, Codenames, Telestrations, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, or Dixit. All are available right now at Target for their Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale.

I have this game. Played it 3 times with different groups and it's not going to get opened again. Everyone is playing Tetris by themselves and then at the end you just count up your points. It's not interactive or exciting, at all. If you like this game then you're missing out on actually fun games.

Bought this for a similar price a couple months ago. Simple 20 minute game that my 10 and 7 year old really enjoy but still fun for adults as well. It's quick and easy to learn. Also a great bang for your buck.

I don't know they call any board game a "party" game. I think of it more as a board game night. At least the get-togethers I've been at...I think booze and loud music when I hear party.

That's not true at all. You can check out BoardGameGeek to see which games are categorized as "party games". They usually involve having 6+ players and simple rules that can be taught in a few minutes.

Although technically you are correct that any game can be a good "get-together" game with a good group of friends and plenty of alcohol.

Our game group really enjoys this. As others have noted it isn't super interactive but at this price it is an easy recommendation.

It's a very light and fast game. Our group usually uses this or The Mind as an appetizer to get us into the gaming mood for a bigger game. It's definitely not the main course but it still requires a decent amount of strategy which makes it fun.

I disagree that there's no interaction between players. There's a shared tracker for gold coin trophies that you're all racing to get to first for more points. And taking a new card after completing your card also has a lot of player interaction since you can take a card someone wants to prevent them from getting a combo or a symbol they need.

You're also not just mindlessly playing Tetris. You know, at all times, the possible Tetris pieces that will come up that round so if you haven't seen one show up yet, you can plan ahead and make room for where you'll place it once it does come up (if it ever shows up since one card is lost per round).
