Anyone who wonders why one would buy this when it's "free" on Gamepass is because you can play this version offline and thus avoid some of the "patches" that made it worse. Physical will always trump digital when it comes to this.

I'm actually playing this game now via Game Pass! I've been a big fan of the Gears of War Universe and this game is pretty awesome if you're into similar tactics games such as XCOM and Fire Emblem. The game developers highly recommend that you play the jacked version rather than the classic, I would spend the few extra bucks for that content if its not already free, it really enhances the gameplay and you get to check out a bunch of new skills and traits. The only thing I don't like is that the side missions get repetitive such as "blow this up, then get your team here", "capture the flag and hold for x turns", "run from artillery to the safety zone while battling inbetween." You'll be doing this nonstop until you run into the storyline missions and boss fights. You have objectives that can yield you better items but overall this side mission is just a grind until you're eligible to do the main storyline. Just my two cents but definitely worth it at 5 dollars or even 20.

Is it possible to use USBConfused keyboard and mouse on Gears Tactics?

Halo Wars still cannot use USB Madkeyboard or mouse and made the game very difficult to control when there are too many enemies across the screens.

Gears5Applause can use USB keyboard and mouse with game controller on XboxOne console.
