My furballs used to love these treats. They have both been gone for a few years now, so we have no need for these now.
Why don't they have similar items for humans, instead of most every so-called "health bar" being loaded with sugars and excess calories of of one form or another?
Even the Costco Turkey Jerky that I favor has two forms of sugar - brown sugar in the #2 position and Apple Juice Concentrate in the 8th position (out of 11 ingredients).

Because for majority of us: tasty foods are not healthy and healthy food usually taste bad. I make homemade jerky for my dog. Chicken breast as the only ingredient. I tried myself and Lol I will never eat again

Low/no-sugar jerky from the big mfrs taste like crap. I don't doubt it can be done because I'm sure I've had smaller-scale jerky that was good: or maybe that was loaded with sugar too 🤷🏻

because it probably tastes like shit.
I mean, my dogs literally eat their own crap and random dead things. I'm not going to trust their tastebuds

Have you tried Stryve or their biltong?
This is my standby[amazon.com].... they have other flavors..... 12 ingredients and they are all food. Product itself looks like cat turds, but it's good.
Aldi used to sell it too. I bought one of their biltong slabs[amazon.com] but have yet to open it.

ooh I haven't. I'll check it out, thanks! I actually no longer have pets, and came to this thread because it sounded appealing to me as a human. This eases the disappointment.

I actually ran across it at Aldi, then when Aldi stopped selling it (seasonal? dunno), I found it on Amazon. Low sugar, no unpronounceable ingredients, not crazy expensive. Again, visually it's a bit off-putting though.
