This does not have a USB charging port or a connection for monitoring via PowerChute software. Plus the battery isn't user-replicable (unless you crack the case open).

I have replaced the battery on one of these and while, yes, it isn't as "easy" compared to the ones that are designed for replacement, it definitely wasn't hard at all. I don't see the need for a USB charge port but I do see how it could be nice to have. This is a lower end model and for $44, I wouldn't expect too many frills as you can buy a higher end USB-C charger for $20-50 depending on the wattage. A cheap 1.5 watt USB is not worth complaint as there are USB ports on most of the devices I'd plug into the UPS. Heck, you can plug in any cheap 1.5 watt USB charger in one of your extra outlets of necessary. All of that being said, this isn't an incredible deal as I have seen these for similar price before, but hey, $8 is $8. If you are in the market for one, APC is a reputable brand and it should keep your PC from losing power during a storm.

How long would this power my modem and router during a power outage? I'm only using it for that and nothing more.

Wattage on both of those can vary wildly. I'd guess maybe 30 minutes to two hours.
