I'm very happy with them as the main L/R channel in my 5.2 system and don't think you can find a better sounding speaker for $200, but they are BIG. Keep that in mind as you plan their placement.

I got the Costco deal, Yamaha TSR-700 for my receiver during BF.
I already got Infinity RS152 for my back speakers. I hope my boxes don't get beat up like what the other customers reported. Lastly, I'm waiting for the center speaker to go back in stock and on sale, RC263.
I also have a Polk Audio CS2 Series II Center Channel Speaker to go with a Bic 12" sub.
They would be primarily for movies and sports watching. No music.
Keep in mind that one person's great can be someone else's bad and neither would apply to you.
So you are going to get a lot of opposing "sale pitches" but unless you actually listen for yourself your not going to really know which is correct for YOU.
The great thing is if you search/go by you listening whatever you pick is correct.
If you are in no hurry I would suggest listening to whatever you can around you.
This will give you a starting point on finding what sound good or bad to you.
One suggestion I would make is to concentrate on just a 5.1 setup for now.
Too often people stretch their budget to include "Atmos" causing less quality to the overall system.
You can always upgrade later and TBH you should have a good 5.1 before upgrading to "Atmos" anyways.
Hope this helps and good luck.

A year and a half ago I bought the subwoofer, center piece and two side speakers from this site and brand. They're pretty damn good!
Now I'm gonna shell out the extra money to complete that set up with these since I now have a bigger house.
I will say the receiver is something I didn't anticipate needing (I was/am a speaker noob) and I just bit the bullet and bought an expensive 500-600 dollar one. And that was the sale price. What's the point of buying good speakers just to cheap out on the receiver.
Or these vs Triangle Br08?
2. A complete 5.2 tower package(2x 263,2x RS152, RC263,2x SUB R12) can be had for less than $1100.
3. Harmon also covers return shipping if your not satisfied, within 30 days. Again, rivaling everything in this price range.
4. DNA from the Prelude/Beta/Revel series, of its time.
5. Includes a 5yr warranty.
6. Did I say rivals everything in its price range, when on sale?
Any thoughts on whether these can potentially sell out before then? Any past experience? Don't want to order only to store them and not be able to use them until after the 30 day return window.
