However, the max brightness of the panel was really disappointing, and the viewing angles are pretty bad even for a VA panel. Even looking at the display head-on from a normal distance, the left and right sides of the panel were noticeably dimmer than the center of the screen. VA panels are known to not have great viewing angles, but I have a budget Vizio V-series TV with a VA panel and it was fine for my use, and I expected this panel to be about the same. It was significantly worse.
I boxed it up for return and put my old LG 27" 4K IPS monitor back on my desk. I was blown away by how much better the picture quality was.

Even though it doesn't list Thunderbolt, I can still connect to my Lenovo Yoga 9i via single usb-c cable and have the laptop charge and display on the monitor, right? It's limited to 65w max PD, but that should be adequate, and no reason to get a Thunderbolt supported monitor?
For $250, sounds like a steal.

No on-screen buttons for power, input, or anything else.
You have to use the remote for everything. And you really do, since it won't stay in standby. -
During the setup wizard, I pressed 'Skip' on the second or third step. The thing went to a black screen, playing music to itself.
The remote buttons did nothing, except for volume. Volume worked and showed the volume indicator. After unplugging it and letting it sit for a while, the thing recovered. Bad first run experience, did anyone test the software at all? -
The mount is only adjustable in one direction. You can't raise or lower the screen, or rotate it.
A few weeks ago Samsung had a 32" 144hz, WQHD curved for $268.
The Airplay compatibility is kind of nice but if you're using this with a Mac, kind of redundant.

Usbc pd works great and a good entertainment/streaming option since my main TV is a bit too far away.
