Newegg [newegg.com] has the 27" Pixio PX277 Prime Gaming Monitor for $264.99 after Promo Code 6PFNTECH336

Tom's Hardware review: The Pixio P277 Prime offers solid gaming performance and fast frame rates for the money. With support for Adaptive-Sync at 165Hz, it can work well with a wide variety of budget systems. It leaves out extended color, and HDR isn't much of an enhancement, but this monitor delivers what's needed for satisfying gameplay.

  • 165Hz Refresh Rate (DP 1.2 - 165Hz, HDMI1 2.0 - 144Hz, HDMI2 1.4 - 144Hz)
  • AMD Radeon FreeSync Premium Technology (Range 48-165Hz) & G-Sync Compatible
  • IPS Panel w/ 111% sRGB
  • 1ms (MPRT) Response Time
  • HDR Ready w/ 350nit Brightness
  • 100x100mm VESA Compatible
  • Xbox Series X and S: 1440p, 120Hz, HDR, VRR

I have two of these side by side on a dual arm vesa mount. Zero complaints as gaming monitors. Would buy again.
Anyone knows the difference between this and px278?

Any reason not to get this for work? Mostly code no fancy video editing and rarely game.

There is definite backlight bleed, but if you're mainly going with bright images and bright gaming then it's definitely worth it.

Same setup. Use 8 hours a day for work and then sometimes more for play. Highly recommend.

Just a heads up - the description states Xbox Series X and S at 120hz but I don't see that happening with those HDMI 2.0 ports. I could be wrong but I do believe it's worth exploring if that's your purpose for this. Seems to be a great pc gaming monitor though.
