Google Play has 1984 & Animal Farm: 2-in1 Audiobook (Google Play Audiobook) on sale for $1.99.

Thanks to Deal Hunter JZ1989 for finding this deal.

About this product:
  • Includes audiobook adaptions of George Orwell's 1984 & Animal Farm together in one bundle, narrated by Benjamin May.
  • Total Duration: 13 hours 55 minutes
  • Nineteen Eighty-Four:
    • "A Novel, often published as 1984, is a dystopian novel. A startling and haunting novel, 1984 creates an imaginary world that is completely convincing from start to finish. No one can deny the novel's hold on the imaginations of whole generations, or the power of its admonitions - a power that seems to grow, not lessen, with the passage of time."
  • Animal Farm:
    • "George Orwell's timeless and timely allegorical novel—a scathing satire on a downtrodden society's blind march towards totalitarianism. The book tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hoping to create a society where the animals can be equal, free, and happy. Ultimately, however, the rebellion is betrayed, and the farm ends up in a state as bad as it was before, under the dictatorship of a pig named Napoleon."

I'd read it again, but we're actually living this out in real life right now. The book was far more close to the truth than anyone dared imagine possible in America... Until we saw the cancel culture and censorship movements proclaiming themselves to be doing so in the name of all that they have deemed good and holy. This book is all but lost on them. Like vampires, they look in the mirror and can't see themselves in it. The irony.

Do you. Not sure why you'd be smug over Big Brothers psyop.

Which side really spent time talking about q, that reveals the answer for what it really was.

When people are constantly gas lit over orange Boomer who spent more time pardoning rappers than his own people they will start to believe weird things.

The revisionist history of "Its not fascism when we do it" is being written as we speak and you are fixated on a propaganda taking point.

I'm sure you don't even wonder why we don't know the name of the cop who shot an unarmed protester.

One need only ask what gets you canceled today, its speaking truth to the new apologists for big brother.

If your really interested in listing to these, find the Stephen Fry George Orwell Collection you'll thank me later.
Doesn't appear to be available to buy those versions. It looks like it's only available to premium Audible subscribers. Can't even see how to outright purchase it.

I'm referring to the movie going on right now, across this planet. COVID-19(84).

FREEDOM IS SLAVERY.
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.

Good news, our Lord, Klaus "Anal" Schwab, has increased our choco rations this week.

Orwell protrayed a dystopian world where authoritarian regimes is achieved by obstructing knowledge from society in 1984. However, i believe Aldous Huxley's book, Brave New World, is a better fit of society today. His argument is that authoritarian society is achieved by giving society all the info they want. Naturally, society consumes info that pleases itself, regardless of relevancy, fact, or impact. This results in a bloodless revolution where society is diverted from what is important to superficial thinking. Even though the book came out in the early 1930's, much of the ideas is relevant today. Great read.

The censors here on Slickdeals will not like this post. Too much truth here.
