I'm currently playing the first, and really enjoying it. The alchemy system is really deep (I'm a good chunk of the way in, and still figuring out new ways to make better items). Seems like many feel the second one improves on the first in many ways.

Amazon and Best Buy are both out/only in stores, but I did find it for PS4 at GameStop (new) for $40:
