can it handle 300 lbs like advertised? i dont think so. look at its structure. no way in hell it can handle her at 300 lbs max.

Yes you can with four screws/bolts. Got mine on June 7th for $29.99

FYI, I ordered the 39" black top and the bottom was teak. Looks like they just reverse the top and bottom between teak and black. but you can't just flip it because they drill into the bottom and mount a nut into it for the bolts.

Lastly, these desks are 23.75" deep.

This is probably better than the cheap Ikea table which is around the same size right? My Ikea wobbles like there's an earthquake if you nudge it a little.

Got this a few days ago and put it together. It'll be fine in the guest room for occasional use. The legs are made well enough that, yes, another top could be put on it if this one fails. It's stable but it's on carpet so... yeah.

In for the white one! I currently have the IKEA version of this and I HATE the legs on it. As somebody else said the lightest nudge and you'd think there was a full on earthquake. I know for a fact this one is much more sturdy. And for $30… can't go wrong.
