that's not the way it works. It's not fanless at all it just doesn't engage the fan till you are at 15% power load then the fan turns on. So it's quieter and saves you a little on electricity

On cooler master's sfx power supplies the "15% semi fanless" feature turned out to be a nightmare with fans ramping up from 0% - 100% while scrolling web pages. The have since revised it a removed the "feature" in the newest iterations after all the complaints. I wonder if this has the same issue.
