Resort fees $25.30 per day

Some reviews say it's getting old and shabby pool is small no ice machine upper floors Due to Covid they only clean every 3rd day "upon request"small parking stalls and tight ramps make it hard to park
good luck finding a hotel in hawaii without resort and parking fees
I was there 12/2019 right before covid. the Pool is a joke, we went there for 30 minutes one day out of our week. Not sure why we were there that long. Our upper floor did have an ice machine but we rarely used it, we were in Hawaii so we were out and about everyday. I bought my package through orbitz and the fees were all in there in the original payment so I had no additional resort fees. This price seems like it's more than what we paid back then, We paid roughly 1k per person for flight + 1 week of stay. Based on this that would be 350 + 464 = $814 and that's without the flight.

Thanks for putting in the leg work. So basically we'd be better off if we can find a nicer hotel for $180ish per night that doesn't have those fees

Marine Surf Waikiki has free parking and no resort fees. They have studio apt type rooms (which I prefer since it has a kitchen). We stayed there in early March and it was great. Used Chase UR points too.

Just looked and there's a $100 cleaning fee.

Nevermind, "An additional cleaning fee will be charged to your account if the condo is not left neat and tidy after your departure". But good to know

There are several properties that don't charge resort fees; just a matter of "getting what you pay for".

Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra right next to Waikiki doesn't have resort fees, for example. But it's a condominium so you might want to do your research.

10 days with no kitchen will cost you.

Edit: looks like there's a kitchenette.

Live on Maui but stay at ala Moana whenever I go Oahu. Can confirm this. Very convenient location being next to the mall.
