  • Price Research: Currently, this is the best available price in the market. The next best price ranges from $68.99 ($38.82 Off or 56.27% Savings). Each 1-Gallon Detergent sold separately ranges from $13-$19 depending on vendor; so this is a really good price.
  • Dawn Dishwashing Liquid offers a high surfactant formula that seeks out greasy soil, cuts through it, surrounds the removed soil and lifts it out of the way. It is perfect for manually washing pots and pans
  • Must be sold/shipped by Walmart
  • Offer valid while promotion/supplies last
Additional Note
  • Please refer to the forum thread for additional details - Discombobulated

Typically the metallic smell is bacteria/ mold in the sponge because you don't rinse it out completely, ring it out completely of water and let it dry. Also they need to be boiled or microwaved in water from time to time to kill the mold that grows within them. Hence why professional kitchens don't use them and use rags because they change they more often (every day as opposed to every week or more that typically people keep sponges because they are expensive)

Dude. That's a WORSE bargain, and you're paying more for a generic brand.

This Dawn deal works out to .058 per ounce.

The walmart brand you linked to works out to .066 per ounce.

I was curious - a quick google search indicates this is probably the same as regular Dawn with different labeling. People don't know for sure - no ingredient list was released - but it seems functionally the same as regular Dawn. Dawn Ultra and Dawn platinum have higher concentrations.

Awesome price. Better than Sams right? Not sure how long it will take me to use these. Do they go bad/expire?

Yes, they are 13/gal at sams. That does include a pump for them. But you still save in the end. For expiration I wouldn't worry about that. I have had some dawn soap for years after buying a deal like this and no issues.

Those looking for an even greater bargain should look at the Walmart store brand of blue dishwashing detergent. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Great-...lsrc=aw.ds

No, it's not Dawn, but performs quite close to it from personal experience and is half the price of Dawn.

Not sure of the differences in Dawn lines, but every single one I've tried leave a weird metallic smell on sponges, wash rags, and drying cloths so now I avoid.

Isn't Dawn cheaper in this case (if you need that much)?

"Blue Dawn" is an excellent way to remove poison ivy and poison sumac oils from your body too. It's far cheaper than using specialty products such as TecNue.
