Fwiw, I'm disappointed with my xikar allume double. Does not light consistently and only lights when pouring fuel out, forget about a small/low flame. I use Neon 11x butane. Shell is stamped zimac, not milled, feels plastic-y. Alternatively, my generic cheap plastic triple lights consistently and can be set to low/small flame. Just one anecdote for your consideration.

What is the safest way to travel with this kind of lighter on a plane? Does TSA give you any issues? Was thinking about sandblasting a name on the side of this and bringing it as a gift to bring to someone in Barbados while traveling.

Torch lighters aren't allowed on planes (check-in or carry on) so TSA will give you trouble if they find it. You are allowed to carry in a soft flame lighter though. I think the only torch lighters you can take are the ones that convert a soft flame lighter into a torch because you can dismantle it.

Don't bring torch lighters on a plane. Once they are lit, they will not snuff naturally. They are very dangerous.
Bought dual flame of this style. A single flame of this style for $27 is super cheap. Especially since single flame wasn't released until about a year after my original purchase.
