So I bought these from this deal and they suck, it doesn't want to light unless the flame adjustment is in the perfect position. Even then the flame dies 2 seconds in. And I've tried ronson and zippo butane.

Make sure you bleed the fuel tank to purge air in it, then refill until it's full. I've had that issue before with a bunch of my other lighters (Xikar, Colibri, Lotus) and that's usually been the fix. Can also look at the igniter to make sure it didn't get bumped, and still sparks in the path of the fuel.
