I have the 29" version of this fridge and love it. Bought it for ~$1100 at the beginning of the pandemic via Best Buy open box fire sale.

This $3k price for the 23" is no deal though...

Yeah, this is not a hot deal.

In fact, have there been any good deals on refrigerators in months?

My LG fridge compressor just went out after only 3.5 years in. Seems like they're just all made terribly now while my parents clunky old fridge is still kicking after 30 years. Luckily I bought my fridge from Costco on the costco visa so it was still under warranty but since the LG compressor issue is widespread (they just settled a class action suit), the warranty company knew LG has had to extend the warranty on compressors to 5-10 years and wants me to go through them for the compressor costs. But man is LG a crappy company. They have authorized repair shops but each of the four I called in the area either just don't respond or told me straight up that they do not repair LG fridge compressors (LG authorized repair shops don't repair LG fridges!?!?). LG wanted me to wait 5 days to hear back from the other authorized shops and then they'd start the process of getting approval for a non-authorized shop (which would take another 3-5 days). I gave in and had to get the repair done by a non-authorized shop and the guy that came for the repair said no one is willing to do the LG compressor repairs b/c LG is so difficult to work with. He mentioned they normally only pay like $250 for the compressor repair when the actual part alone costs $350 not including labor. And sure enough when I pressed LG harder via their twitter help, they first tried to offer me just $250. I still have the case open with them to get fully refunded for the repairs though. It's BS that they settled a lawsuit and extended the warranty only to make it as difficult as possible for people to actually use the warranty.

lol.....sorry for the rant...literally going through this right now. Fridge got fixed yesterday and is up and running again but some horror stories about them going out over and over. Hopefully you have had better luck dealing with Samsung. A friend of mine actually just got a free in home panel replacement for this TV that was 4-5 years out of warranty......thought that was solid of samsung but could just be a random isolated event.

totally get it. not worth the quasi home warranty frustrations. almost replaced my GE French door with a LG Instaview. Ship company was ghetto though, maybe a blessing in disguise. Gonna ride this GE into dirt...

The BESPOKE model with interchangeable front panels was unveiled at CES 2021 and was released for preorder in late March 2021... so probably not the same, but similar design

Agreed. These are brand new. Do they have the old system? Probably, but are they really cool? Yep.
