32 tooth ratchet head. Usually not an issue, but I had to do some suspension work last year and the 90 tooth head in the ICON I had really made a difference. My old Craftsman 150 ft-lb one didn't have the swing to work, and it was shorter than the 250 ft-lb ICON one I ended up getting.

After the holidays, in-store this was still listed at $50 and included a label with "new lower price." I thought once that label is stuck on an item, the price should not increase/fluctuate. Was I naive to believe the label? cause I've noticed this trend with other items too.

My $10 harbor freight torque wrench has been working for me just fine for the last few years, highly recommended.

I think "new lower price" is how they clear out the extra merchandise they get in for the holidays without making the new price permanent. Years ago Walmart would do the same thing with "price drops", where they would lower the price for a while, then jack it back up so they could do another "price drop" later. They did this all the time with baby diapers when our kids used them.

Just bought the husky one this week. It feels way better than the harbor freight one and goes up to 250 ft lbs as opposed to harbor freight 150 ft lbs. Didn't think I needed until I had to torque something to 216lbs. It's longer and grips better.

This is much nicer than the formerly $10 Harbor Freight option. The more comparable HF torque wrench is the $100+ Icon version: https://www.harborfreight.com/han...64064.html

Good luck finding a torque wrench for $10 in HF nowadays. Their prices are now meh to say the least. I used to buy quite a few things there but after my recent visit this weekend I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. Their prices can be easily matched or beaten elsewhere, and with Amazon's rapid shipping it's hardly worth driving to the store. I predict HF will start closing stores if they haven't started already. You should consider their lifetime warranties to be 12 months at most.
