I need a chair, but have heard these racing style chairs are extremely uncomfortable after a month. Anyone have any experience with this one?

Not exactly the same one but a similar one by GTRACING. I find it pretty comfortable to sit on for a long time. I've been using it for more than a year now and don't find anything negative except the squeaking noise after using it for a while.

A reason why these chairs went from $150 to $76. The one i bought didn't last a year before breaking.

Bought a similar one 2 years ago. Still in good shape. The arm rests honestly take the most abuse, I'm 185lbs for reference. Mine has a foot rest and lays back fully, this goes about halfway if it matters. But do yourself a favor, with any of these cheaper "gaming" chairs, spend an extra $10-20 and get a gel seat cushion. It's life changing for comfort.

What broke? Considering picking up a pair for the kids.. wondering if they might at least hold up to that mini-onslaught.

i bought one like this from gtracing (with the footrest) and it always feels like I'm at risk of falling over. The wheels don't move well, which means I need to do this butt scooch move all the time. The only reason I have kept it is because I needed to pay for the return costs for the chair which is more than what I paid for it
