The delay lubricant main purpose is to desensitize the nerve endings on the penis to allow the man to hold out longer. I find it unnecessary for the delay chemical in a condom since the condom alone takes away some of the sensitivity and pleasure. I have used it in the past without a condom, and it did help when I was younger.
