I bought one last summer when it was down to $599 in store. We get sporadic power outages and I've used it 4 times i think? About 20hrs on it, all propane.
I run our 240v well pump, lights, fridge, freezer, everything except the HVAC.
It's been great. Some lights flicker a bit but have not noticed any other issues.
It's been a great investment, having water when the power goes out is huge. No lights, i can deal with but no water to flush, wash, etc with a new baby would have been not fun.
This review is a serious issue for home use:

I wouldn't trust plugging that thing into just about anything anymore. Everything uses chips and sensitive electronics these days. Even your Fridge, Washer/Dryer, and Thermostat.

Probably fine for running tools at the job site, but not sure why you'd want a tri-fuel in those situations though. Wish they made more LNG/Propane inverters for home use.
I had the Firman dual fuel and got the following results
1. Lights flickered
2. UPS beeped every minute due to power fluctuations. Battery died due to not being able to charge. Had to plug computers directly into wall.
3. Very noisy
4. Fuel selector switch broke after 1 year. Got a replacement from Firman (took them 3 months and constant emails). Then it broke while I was trying to install it.

Returned it to Costco. No issues.

Got myself the Predator 8750 Inverter (with Warranty). Costs more, but I can run my computers on this without having to worry.

Hmm, $599 is a good price. What time of the year was that when you purchased it for $599?

Looking to buy this time around as well since I missed out last year. I would think this unit is capable of powering a window ac unit 10,000 btu along with a fridge and freezer.

How are the noise levels on this when using propane or any other fuel?

Also I see lots of comments praising inverter generators over standard ones since they produce a cleaner sine wave. Any issues with running the fridge or freezer?

I have seen them in the store. Call and give them the item number. They can tell you if they have them or another one does.

This is sometimes available for 599 in stores. Do you just have to look to find it ? Is it nationwide and deals are posted here ?

This review is a serious issue for home use:

Do your research before you buy this generator. Understand what THD (total harmonic distortion) is and how it will affect your home electronics. I had to call Firman to find out this unit has a THD of 25% which is off the charts high and will destroy sensitive electronics and expensive appliances. I'm really disappointed that the Costco buyers would put such a low quality product on their shelves. Costco members expect and server better.

you'll never find an inverter generator near this size near this price...or heck, even close to the retail price of this.

just an fyi

I mean... not really. Wen has their 8750 watt inverter for $800. And their 4k watt duel fuel is frequently in the $500-600 range.

I definitely haven't seen any tri-fuel ones for this price, but I'd rather trade some watts or even fuel flexibility for the inverter.

This is more of a "job site" generator, and definitely not a home backup. Too many devices it could fry in a home.

From Amazon:

This 7500W generator has major THD ( Total Harmonic distortion) propably around 25% vs less than 5% that it should have which makes your LED and Fluorescent lights flicker, which drives you crazy, and it may affect your sensitive electronics. Had other generators on the same circuit with no issues. When you call Firman and eventually get threw they tell you that they'll get back to you, but never do, you call back and it's silence again. The warranty is non existent if you can't get it fixed. Had no choice but to return the generator.
Yup, this sucks. Though note that most electronics have SMPS power supply which means that the THD of the power does not matter. It could hurt the power supply though ... maybe.
Though realize that most PCs for example will run just fine on square wave UPS which have a THD of 50%.
