I had already gotten several of these e-books free in the past (via Slickdeals) but I'm not an e-reader; I get them for cases where there is a significant discount on the audible version.
I may have an untouched Kindle library of terms of thousands of books, but it has saved me money in the long run with little effort.
Again, I don't want to criticize the poster for the content of the post (I love a good free or cheap ebook and audible audiobook), but the OP doesn't format very clearly on my iMac on Safari.
Link to the spreadsheet is nice, but I only came across it after spending twenty minutes clicking and re-clicking links from my phone before I was certain I didn't miss any.
Simply numbering the list of URLs would help immensely!

So a bunch of his stories did not get their copyright renewed properly. Little Fuzzy is a great story for advanced grade school or regular middle school readers, about the Harry Potter stage, in a Science Fiction setting about an ornery old prospector who does the right thing when an sentient race that doesn't meet the "talk and use fire" baseline is about to be exterminated. Space Vikings is part of his jingoistic future history, which like many of the Golden Age stories is colorblind in a way that well, let's just say it's reminiscent of Starship Troopers by Heinlein except instead of treading a not so-fine-line between military virtues and Fascism, instead makes a hero out of literal Space Vikings. It's an interesting examination of how that kind of culture has the seeds to it's own destruction, except that the hero in your own narrative is raiding and destroying. It has great universe building, and instead deals with a world where you have collapsed atom plates armoring Starships with missiles that are designed to do things like crack Crustal Plates on a planet (think BIG Tsar Bomba)
I prefer his Paratime Police stories, with their alternative timelines, with Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen being the best. In a couple of short stories set in that universe there is strong "White Man's Burden" bias, but for most of the stories it's not intrusive, and some women actually are strong characters, though still secondary characters (remember, early 1960's). Those stories did NOT fall out of copyright, unlike the ones in this offering.
