Another quirk is the 5G home internet Gateway I recently got. It seems to be non SA 5G, further evidenced by the primary signal always being set at 4G no matter how you twerk the online settings (other than shutting of 4G altogether, which shuts down communication in the end). And keep in mind I never get better than 'Good" signal on the app (There are higher VG and Excellent ratings). . .but when I am at "Good" it pulls from B2 4G or B66 4G. . .and Gives me 50-100Mbps hardwired. . .and when I twist the gateway slightly to where it gives me "Weak" signal. . .it seems to pull off the N71 5G tower and my speeds jump up to 100-200mbps hardwired. For reference, my 4G towers are just under a mile away due east, and the n71 5G tower is roughly 2 miles away and to the NE, so it's not that hard to try and exclude one or the other. . .

I just pay that off and get this and it'll move to the account level as a credit?
Since the deal is tied to a line, you can just use this deal on a line that currently doesn't have a promo on it.
The $500 offer was already available before this too with no new line needed.
Would be amazing if they did the 5+ year $200 discount as well for long term customers.

The S21 will shrink the screen ever so slightly, as well as the resolution, but otherwise you're getting everything Samsung in a slightly smaller form factor! (Unless you're part of the small group of people who miss the curved glass screen features... those are gone)
If you don't need SD expansion but want to retain stylus functionality consider the S21 Ultra option. That grows the phone ever so slightly, but also increases the screen size (and resolution) while giving you the option (albeit less integrated) of using a Samsung stylus.
Good luck!

And I'm also still holding onto an S9 I might also swap in for this deal since it's serving no other purpose right now.
Good luck!

Also no headphone jack either right?
No, I actually despise curved screen and couldn't wish that to end soon enough. One thing I like on iPhone is the wider (not taller) screen I wish Samsung kept that on some devices, I feel like Note 8's tall resolution was a downgrade from earlier Note's.
I don't need a huge device I think 21 Plus would be too big, I am happy with Note8 size even slightly smaller, not S10 size, though, that's a little too small, but when I look at the actual screen, it's similar because of less bezels.
Is there a page source trick to see which codes are eligible for this deal?
Again I wish there was a deal for like %50 out-right cost vs monthly credit, $800 for Note 8 is insanely tempting but trading in + being tied 24 months is a little too much in my opinion.

No headphone jack, but USB-C to 3.5mm adapters can at least be had for pretty cheap (of varying quality).
You're definitely correct to worry about the residual value of your Note 8. Your phone isn't broken but if you're looking to maximize its residual value you should definitely be looking to jump ASAP.
Good luck!
