Apple doesn't ask for any proof. Literally ANYONE can get the discount. The fine print, if I recall, even says parents can buy for themselves.

I too bought a macbook air about a month ago. The terms say it is valid within the "promotional period". I cant find details on this promo period…

Also if you are caught lying about it after the purchase has gone through Apple can and will charge you for the difference.
It was more laid back in the past but they do not mess around now.
Lol, so wrong. Go to the edu website and order with any email address. I've done it countless times.
