Apple doesn't ask for any proof. Literally ANYONE can get the discount. The fine print, if I recall, even says parents can buy for themselves.

I bought the MacBook Pro 13.3" 8GB Memory 256GB SSD from Costco earlier this week

https://slickdeals.net/f/15087727-costco-members-macbook-pro-13-3-apple-m1-chip-8-core-cpu-8-core-gpu-8gb-memory-256gb-ssd-starting-6-12-1149?v=1

With Costco, $50 off $500 coupon, cost me $1400 with Apple Care and Taxes.

Looks like, with Student Discount, Apple Care and Airpods Pro, it will $1500. It would be a benefit of Airpods Pro for $100 difference.

But the Costco Warranty with 4 yrs ( 2yrs plus $2 Citi Visa) is a better fetch in long run over this purchase.

Does any Student Discount or Airpods Promotion is stackable if purchased from vendors other than Apple like Costco ?

My purchase right now would be the MB Air but I'm still on the fence given the continuous rumors of a new MB Pro "next month". Would be willing to wait and upgrade for a 14" screen. On the other side, if they roll out full MacOS to the iPad Pro, I would consider getting that over the MB Air. Indecision, indecision, indecision…

Is there a limit for the offer? Can I buy an iPad Pro and get the airpods? And then order a MacBook pro to get a second pair of airpods?

Similar here, I bought the MacBook Air in April with $100 off 500 coupon. I feel the two deals are kind of similar, there is no one that is much better than another.
However, in my case, this deal from Apple store is slightly better than Costco's for two reasons: 1) target has the apple gift card promotion, which makes the deal sweeter; 2) I can buy other stuff at Costco with the $100 coupon, LOL. It is easy to spend $500 at Costco.....

The terms on the Target Gift Cards read "...Redemption limit one gift card per guest..." I wonder if this is the reason why from the 3rd purchase onward, the transactions are getting canceled...

This is a great deal and it looks to me that Apple are not really strict with showing proof of being a student or working in the education field.

I need to upgrade one my MBA since it was from 2014 and it's not enough power and ram to handle nowadays apps... also having a MBP... was thinking of the iMac but then I would need to get a back-up battery in case the power goes out while I am working... I like how it's very minimal and all in one, having more space on my desk but comparing the iMac to the MBP, with the same config and hooking up to an external monitor... would save me about $800 (512gb w/ 16gb ram)... plus longer battery life. Oh yeh, there's the mac mini as well just need to get an external back-up battery... which makes it affordable comparing to the iMac.

Plus my airpods are dying, this deal is great, since I was waiting to see if new airpods would be out, but this deal make it very attracting...

hard decision to make.

I have an ipad pro order that hasn't even shipped yet that was ordered through the EDU store. anyone know if they'll add the airpods to the order?
Well if it's not on your receipt then.. or if it wasnt announced at the time you bought it good chance it's a no. How do they know you even want it, for them to simply just toss in there for everybody.. It wouldn't make sense.. but excellent question though, mind boggling
