Need a TV for a spare room. Really hoping the 55A8H drops back to BF price of $1299 (or less).

today is my 30th day with LG CX from Costco...have another 60 days to return if i want to...will see if the A80J at Costco will drop down to same price as Buydig...might get that instead. I'm loving the CX though.
Almost the exact same situation. May just order this and compare the two. I love the LG CX but I'm sensitive to motion and I'm not impressed with the motion handling. I hear Sony beats LG in this department.

Anyone have any idea how bad the return process is with buydig?

At Costco earlier today, when comparing the LG TVs to the Sony equivalents, the LG ones were always more smooth and less stutter. It was obvious when compared side by side.

That was probably the motion smoothing settings which is adjustable on both. It seems the LG just had the soap opera effect turned up as a default.

It's hard to get a true side by side comparison at the store since the settings are always jacked up and in 'blaze' vivid mode and all sorts of noise reduction and smoothening on that you either shouldn't use or should try in the lowest setting.

I think I'm going LG, supposedly better for gaming and the response rate looked much better on rtings.

reviews are pretty brutal for that extended warranty via cps. Also there is conflicting info, on the cps website it says the extended warranty does not include burn-in, while the OP is claiming it does include burn in? I think I'd go with what the cps website says vs wherever the OP got their information from

If Costco has a similar deal on Monday, I'm pulling the trigger on the 65 A80J. Fingers crossed

Planning to go with LG too although I won't be using it for gaming just general use but cannot justify to spend additional $200 on 55" A80J

Warrant

Accidental Damage coverage
Impact Damage
Dropping while moving or mounting the TV
From kids playing ball in the house
Burn in covered - usually not covered by the OEM
Remote Control replacement - hot swap, no question asked
Tech Support Included - initial product setup and/or configuration
Authorized service dispatched by Consumer Priority Service

feel like i should pull the trigger, cant seem to think their will be a better deal than this until bf. I d also buy this from bestbuy, their warranty seems good. Ugh, not sure what to do but want this one just wondering if a bad idea getting from buydig, id prefer bb.

Edit * placed order with buydig.

I'm with ya. The few times that I've purchased tvs online they have been through Amazon which fortunately, never had an issue with. Buydig...I've heard mixed things along with this CPS warranty. I'm going to wait and see how the day plays out to see if Costco/Best Buy/Amazon since not all their deals have gone live yet.
