I think I ordered too many phones from them because now every time I try to order it says my payment method was declined. IIRC this is their way of saying you ordered too much already. Tried several cards, new cards etc and my bank is definitely not declining the purchase. This has been going on for weeks.

How many did you order? I ordered 6 already (different models) and not seeing this happening.

I only ordered 5 of the refurbished iPhone SE recently and I could never order a 6th. And I can't order this either. Over the years I've no idea my number of total orders with them but it was a lot.

I believe they monitor the average life of the phones on their network, if all are disconnected after 1 month, or not even activated, they may treat it as abuse or classify buyer as retailer.

Yep! Worked for me before, but the code I used was from a totalwirelessreferral subreddit. I used another one for my mom's phone, but the person lied and the code was only good for 5000 points. Still good, but make sure you use a code that's verified as advertised.

There also use to be a deal where you could wait, not activating the phone, about 20 days, and Total Wireless would send an email to you asking you to activate the phone. After several emails they would offer you a $20.00 gift card for activation. It worked for me about two years ago, but I'm not sure if they do it anymore.

Ok so dumb question. If it is locked for a year, what is the point of using it with service for a month? Then you sit on a phone you can't use for 11 months. Am I missing something? Also, how do you unlock it after a year?
