Appears to be in-store price and YMMV for other locations
Still shows $6.99 online, but marked down to $1.99 in-store.
Note these are Made in Japan, and are high-quality batteries comparable to Eneloops.

I didn't see any AAA's and they were barely marked down anyway compared to $.25 for these Japanese made Eneloop types (dropped them in a charger and\ they were still at 1.31v even after sitting there for who knows how long).
