Also, I would think twice before buying a refurbished router, maybe directly from the manufacturer but never ever from any third-party seller. Routers are prone to break after a few years.
The person returning it probably couldn't figure out how to get it to work. When they get the return, they probably just clean it up, slap the latest firmware on there, give it a quick test, and then sell it as refurbished.

Even netgear would not make any firmware update for its nighthawk router series. It just suck when there are too many bugs exist
