I believe this is the machine that a prominent Youtube hardware reviewer said this was the worse pre-built he's ever seen.

Yes, definitely decent. I have this one too. Just spend extra $40 on CPU cooler and exhaust fan to keep temp. Low.
Do a clean windows install to get rid of all the pre-installed stuff.

That totals $630 + $43 = $673 after factoring the price of adding an 8 GB stick of RAM so do not post lies saying a configuration with i5-10400F, GTX 1660 Ti (or GTX 1660 Super), 16GB RAM, and 512 SSD "can be had for around $620-650."

This is $730 + tax though? The one I linked is 630 + tax? It's still $100 cheaper. And lies? May be a bit of strong wording? Anyways, I hope this helps, he was asking if there would be a better deal and I confirmed there has been in the recent past

You can do a reset from within the settings app in windows. It reinstalls windows without all the junk, no license purchase needed. I don't know which cooler for this model. I bought the xps last week and someone lined a $30 cooler from Amazon.

I bought this a little over a year ago. Similar specs but with an i7. I have no issues with it however, I primarily use this as a Plex / Torrent box. In my particular situation its been great.

Then download the windows media creation tool from Microsoft and make a USB. Almost as easy. Point is bloatware issue is easy to fix.

The fans will be loud and you can't change any major parts if it breaks (RAM, CPU, and GPU being the only standard components). If you are not a techy person and just want a PC to do some light gaming, I would say "It's fine.". But if you want to do some streaming or use Abode softwares, look elsewhere.
