Handpicked just for you (email)

I loathe handpicking. I come slickdeals many times a day, if my actions on the site generate emails like this, this site will join the other sites that pretended this was a good idea.

Which email setting is the one that prevents this?

Hi schmide, thanks for the feedback. If you want to turn off these emails go to Settings and Options > Email Settings and set "Slickdeals Newsletter" to off. This will turn off any of the activity based emails you receive, but will not affect Deal Alerts or other types of emails. Would love to hear your thoughts on how to improve these types of emails!

Let me know if you have any other questions.

That sucks, because I like the newsletter.

Newsletter for a single person seems odd.

I agree. This spammy behavior is such a betrayal of trust. I was also searching for a way to unsubscribe without turning everything off. I also like the newsletter, but will unsubscribe so I don't continue to receive the creepy "Still looking for the best xxx" spam emails. Too bad for SD, as I've clicked links in the newsletter in the past resulting in ad revenue and referral revenue, but no more.

and unsubscribed from all. That's on you. I click on a lot of deals. Don't pretend to know what I want.
