Apple's latest iPad Pro is a powerful, future-proofed tablet with the same chipset as the MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro, and the new iMac. Though it's barely been out a month, Amazon has already cut the price of the larger, 12.9-inch model with WiFi and 256GB storage. Right now, the iPad Pro is available for $1,099, a saving of $100, which you could put toward a keyboard.

No you aren't wrong to think that. The model you're referring to will be called "(Wi-Fi + Cellular)" but it doesn't seem the OP was in reference to that model.

The cellular model is available on Amazon and it is $1,399 which is its regular price.

EDIT: I see you mean that at $1099 we should be getting cellular capabilities too. This is Apple, you pay more for things sometimes.

A $1000 laptop doesn't connect to the internet with a cellular connection, so no. I don't think that's a reasonable demand for all iPads. And you can buy the cellular version if you need it

It's an Apple product. People don't mind spending 1-2k on an iPad with more storage. This should have 1TB at this price, this is ridiculous. 256gb is nothing for pro work.

Apple doesn't use OLED on tablets yet, only Samsung really. The Microled had bloom issues on some 2021 iPads.

Yes, micro-led but similar to Oled. Anyway the point is the 12" screen is much better.
