Who in their right mind pays $8.99 for a 24 pack of regular purified packaged water?? How is this even a deal?? Aldi and most other retailers sell this 24pk at 1.99 on normal days. This ain't Slick!!

How about paying $0 for it with Office Depot rewards which you get simply for buying free after rewards items and recyling used ink cartridges on top of that.

Love how the Costco/Sams elitists go around to every thread posting the prices there as if there's never a better reason NOT to buy there.

I'll pay $0 thank you very much and I didn't have to pay $55 to join OD rewards like someone who joins Costco does.

Obviously you don't know anything about Office Depot and their rewards program, which is likely how most people are paying for this water and paying $0. Ordered 8 cases already using rewards and paid NADA, ZILCH, ZERO.

I have a family member who is an employee at Costco. So $0 spent there on the membership fees. I'll stick to 40 for $3 everyday.

All I'm saying is $3 for 40 everyday is a pretty slickdeal. I'm sure you have friend/family who has a membership. Should probably start utilizing it.

No argument there. But there are reasons, even with a Costco membership you may not want to go that route. 40 ct cases are extremely heavy and various customer types may very much prefer to deal with a 24ct case for safety/ease of unloading purposes (bad back, small/frailer person, etc) As I mention, even if I did have access to a Costco membership, at no cost, it's still cheaper for me to burn rewards at $1.99 a case of 24 then spend $3oop for a case of 40.

Ink carts cost me about 10-15c ea to buy. I recycle 10 ($1.50 cost max) I get back $20 in rewards on that every single month.

For $20 I can get 10 cases of 24 ct water that I invested at most $1.50 on. That's 240 bottles, which is 6 cases of 40 ct water that would cost me $18 oop. There's no contest here financially really. That's why I do sometimes laugh at the Costco retorts in these threads. You don't always save money just because you're getting it at Costco.
