Good deal! I picked one up last week at same price. Mower feels very solid, and it had no issue cutting 3 weeks worth of growth St. Augustine grass. I definitely enjoyed using the mower, especially since I was finally free from the extension cord.

Definitely recommend it for anybody looking to jump into the battery powered side of outdoor equipment.

Pretty good deal for the metal deck mower with battery and charger. I wish it was the self propelled version. I took the plunge and upgraded to the Z6 zero turn mower.

how come there is little interest in this deal especially given that Ego deals have been scarce lately? Is this a no-deal? Asking because in the market.

If I had to guess, I'd probably say it's because it's not their latest and greatest select cut, or self propelled.

The 5ah battery and rapid charger are worth over $300.

It's not that popular of a model. The more-popular LM2101 is $400 everyday. But with the price drop, compared to The LM2101, you're getting for teh same price

Pro:
  • ​Brushless motor (better runtime...unsure if better power or not)
  • Steel deck

Con:
  • 1" narrower blade
  • Slightly heavier, despite being narrower (con of the steel deck)

Yeah i looked into this one a couple weeks when it was on sale, decided to hold out for the newer model select cut, reviews were mixed

I got this at my local Lowe's and unfortunately it came with the old style battery without the fuel gauge. Lame
