There's no comparison to GoW 3. Maybe to 2018, but it's still much bigger and I think the combat tends to be a bit deeper in GoW.
And probably not on game pass. Don't think any of the AC games have been on there.

I think after inserting disc, you have to go to PS store to download the PS5 version which will now be marked free since you have the PS4 disc already.
It works like this for Miles Morales PS4 disc on PS5
Also, I don't remember the process off the top of my head, but you don't need to install the PS4 version off the disc. There is a way through the menu options to just download/install the PS5 version. I've done this for FF7Remake and Valhalla.

Yep, this is the same method they used when they were transitioning PS3 games into the PS4 versions back in the day
