Roku has a horrific audio lag issue that is unaddressable on both of my monitors.
Their customer service in non-existent.

Yea, here's THAT DEAL It was short lived and I believe a mistake where they offered a discounted price + a coupon code at the same time that weren't supposed to be used together. Got one myself at that price.

I would jump on another firestick but I've been having nothing but woes with mine lately. (Plex primarily)

I find Roku to be a much more solid streamer.

Anyone able to get the 20% with trade-in working? That would get this down to $15! That worked back in 2019 when for this.

I tried setting up a trade in of my current Fire TV stick. It says I should get $3 amazon gift card and 20% off. I don't see 20% when checking out with the Fire TV Stick 4K though.

FWIW I got tired of the ads and wanted to be able to cast so I switched from a Fire Stick 4K to the new Chromecast (w/ Google TV) and it's miles better IMO. I preferred the Fire Stick remote though. If you're on a budget this is a great price for a solid 4K streaming stick.

Audio on my Nexus Player went caput so finally opened this fire stick I got on the $5 deal. Seriously underrated. Plays content on some apps better than my Shield TV

I managed to get one 4K and one normal for $5 each I think.. then I lost the remote on the 4K.. so I opened the 1080p to use the remote lol, never found that first remote

Did you try turning off audio leveling or boost or whatever it's called?

It's all about the use case. I use Plex extensively and Roku has always been flawless there. Firestick? Not so much. Multiple issues on a regular basis with that.

I have kodi and similar on my firestick.
Still don't like the way it behaves for normal use.
