Works with 20% off trade in plus $25 trade in credit. This gonna cost $50 plus tax with your old fire tablet. Not bad. I'm upgrading from a hd 8 with 2gb of ram. This has 4gb of ram plus wireless charging.

Make sure to use the toolbox and install Vanced afterward then you are all good to go from there.

For those who have a specialty ubreakifix nearby. You could go drop it off for immediate trade in credit and 20% off coupon. That's what I did earlier today because I didn't want to pack and ship it in.

Whatever works. I was trying to avoid the exact scenario, hence why I went to ubreakifix just in case they don't want my sort of new hd 8 that has been using as baby monitor. I could just take it right back there and then. It went smoothly got the 20% off coupon plus $25 trade in credit.

The 8 plus for $65 is not nearly as good , right. as far as internals? I actually prefer the 8" size

Ended up buying the 10 because I know the response is going to be that it has better hardware

Got 10% from that getbacktobus promo (I think its cuz I have a seller acct)
Also used $10 Discover promo

I still have the 8 plus after trading in the regular 8. The 8 plus has 3gb of ram vs 4gb on this. I believe the 10 plus has slightly faster processor as well. Both 8 plus and 10 plus have the wireless charging capability

How do you get to ~$50 with the trade-in? Is the $25 trade-in credit already counted in the -$36 above? So you're figuring another ~$22 off from the 20% off?

This is a pretty good deal. If you add the productivity keyboard for $50, the total is less than than the productivity bundle. I like that the keyboard doesn't use a kickstand so you can actually use it on your lap unlike Samsung S7.

I went with the 10 though the 8 probably would have been good enough and better in size, having a little buyers remorse but not sure the actual terms of the Discover promo and the 10% not showing in cart so may not be worth it to cancel
