Yes, I have 3 of these (the 1512H but same thing) and I've never paid more than $120. Co-Vid, yes. Also wild fires in the West. And because we already have record heat and drought situation = more wild fires = probably the price on these isn't going down anytime soon.
They're about $188 on Amazonk. I'm tempted to get another per this post.

This is slightly superior, that one has double the amount of filters. Pick your poison, you really can't go wrong with either.

The only thing I don't like about the Winix (i just bought this Coway one because of this) is that the light is VERY bright and you can't turn it off. You can turn the plasma wave off and that turns the light off but you can't turn the air quality light off on the Winix and it damn near lights up my room. The Coway Airmega 200m allows you to turn the light off and so does that AP1512HH (they added the feature at the end of 2018 so if you get an earlier model it won't have the feature).
