Looks like it supports all the major ones except AV1. Though I'm doubtful most people will store AV1-encoded video on their home NAS (I've played around with it and it currently takes like 5-10x longer to encode than HEVC h.265, which is already substantially slower than h.264.)
I did turn up this thread, which claims HW transcode on the 920+ can be spotty. But software transcode is fine.

I'm starting to think we're best off just having the NAS act as file server, and use plex server on a beefier server (I have one for VMs) to transcode.
