I have both the 2c and the eufycam 2 and like both of them. However, in my own experience ( Maybe set up wrong or something) unless your wifi is great and near the cameras, it is slow to load live view sometimes. It captures alerts, but if I get a notification and click to see live, sometimes it takes 30s-1min to load.

Agree, I have a 2 cam setup. It's not my main security since that's POE, but for supplemental stuff the Eufy 2c is great. My wife likes it since she can just use one app to view things, whereas before I had a Blink, Wyze, etc and she hated switching apps to view different parts of the house.

I'll let others answer the home base, but I have the Eufy solar panel on one of my regular 2C cameras. Works great. Has kept it in the 85+ prevent battery level, even while attached to a live oak tree in Texas with some shade.
