I saw this too. Very good deal, OP! No DRAM, but I can say that it performs very well as a game installs drive for me. I actually used 2x in a RAID 0 and have been very happy with the performance.

Edit: You should list the 2TB drive in this post as well because it's an incredibly low price for the capacity at $154.99

These drives slow to a crawl far worse than spinning hard drives if you're doing large file writes past 20-25 GB. Slower than some usb flash drives even. Good for a game drive or media drive though if you're just gonna use it to store data and not re-write much.

I don't have any experience with crucial, but this product has over 51k reviews, with 87% of them a perfect 5 stars, and 7% 4 stars. So those ppl might disagree.

Maybe for you, but certainly not for everyone. Personally I've got 5 Crucial SSDs in active use, and none of them have given me any issues. One of them is from 2013 and has been in use basically 24/7.

Crucial's BX500 is a cheap option that will outperform any HDD as a boot drive, but it comes with drawbacks. The BX500's low endurance and application performance rank far behind most current-gen SSDs in the market. Pricing is competitive, but there are much better options available for just a few dollars more, including Crucial's own MX500, making this drive hard to recommend.
