Question- any recommendations on a solar panel I can keep outside? Needs to be waterproof. Want to use this in my shed and have the solar panel permanently installed on the roof. Thanks!

What solar wattage and battery size should I be after? Does pwm or mppt make any difference at that scale?

So looks like you have about 12W required by each, so 24W, I'd assume 24/7, so that's 576Wh per day. Lifepo4 is a great option for longevity. Sizing of the battery and panels is quite dependent on how many days of battery reserve you'd like, such as for runs of many sunless/rainy days, etc.
For reference at LifePO4 nominal voltage of 13.2V, 100Ah is 1,320Wh, 200Ah is 2,640Wh. For 2-3 days of backup 100Ah seems ok, for 4-7 I'd go with 200Ah. If you choose to go with a smaller battery, you may want to add an extra panel or two to keep batteries fully topped up on cloudy days. You're talking some very serious battery money for quality pre-built LifePO4 with a good battery management system (BMS) built-in, which is IMO mandatory (check if it has low temp charging protection!). If you DIY bare cells and a BMS, it could be much cheaper.
PWM vs MPPT matters a bit, but I think either would work for this application. Cheap PWM controller is $20, cheap MPPT is $100+. Just gotta be 100% sure that charge controller is compatible with what LifePO4 chemistry needs.
Panels? If you want longevity go with fixed frame ridgid panels. Best price per watt will be 250W or larger (commercial panels, even used ones are typically fine and very inexpensive). You could go with just one 250-300W panel likely. Or you could go with 2-3 100W panels ($70-$80/ea on Amazon, less cost effective) and should be in good shape. Poly vs mono reallly doesn't matter much unless you're very tight on space.

I had also purchased two of the solar panels which are now on sale as well. Returning all 4 items and reordered:
Original purchase: $960
Prime Day purchase: $670
Saved 290 (before tax).
I understand that certain price points were paid for stock specifically acquired for this event, I just with they could figure out how to manage price adjustments for recent purchases in cases like this.
Doesn't hurt to call CS and explain that you want to save the environment and not waste so much on shipping everything back and re-ordering. Otherwise, I think that's the best course of action.

How do I find xxxAH info on the products. I wanna get a 4-7day backup with 200Ah but don't know which product meet this requirement? Thanks! Wonder if a 300 works foe this need!
