Yep. Bought one. Stacked with Discover pay with points 40% off and it cost me around $50 pre-tax and paid with GC.

No, something like a SN850 or 980 Pro are the ones you should look at.

The P5 is definitely a more reliable drive. It really depends on what you plan to store on it. I like the P5 more myself. I own one in my gaming laptop as a game drive.

If you mean for the blank drive slot, I don't think they've enabled it in the OS yet? Not sure. I think it'll be perfect for it once they do though.

Yup as a main drive for game installations. I guess I will keep my P5 order then. Thanks

50% more read and write speed too.

Although on youtube SSD benchmark videos, even with SATA, the games loading speed difference is like few seconds.

im okay with this price and the 40 dollar +10 credit...
this is just basically for games and nothing else. Besides my second slot nvme doesnt get the full gen 3 speeds. This is perfectly enough. Better than the bx sata.

Pretty slow when writing larger amounts of data, due to lack om DRAM.
Real life performance isn't anywhere near the listed (sequential) write speed
of 1800 MB/s.

Tough choice performance is not that huge difference. The only thing that P5 standout over P1 is the TBW (is the manufacturer's expectation for your device's flash endurance).

1 TB P2: 300 TB
vs
1 TB P5: 600 TB
