Isn't the entire game based around replaying it?
Such a great game. Loved every minute of it and lately I feel games are targeted towards a younger audience, so my attention span with video games is almost zero. This game was right up my alley with a haunting psychological horror story with lovecraftian beasts and bullet-hell gameplay
Probably the same kinda dude who complains shmups are only 45 minutes long (after credit spamming to the end).

Best Buy has it for this price as well. Same for Demon's Souls.

I would recommend holding off on this game until they patch in more content or release DLC. It's very short with little to no replayability.

Doesn't seem like the type of game you'd want to constantly swap in a disc in for. Hoping for a digital price match

I disagree, the games length is fine for $50 and I personally wasn't done with the game once I "completed" it.

I definitely agree. Of all the complaints I see on the game, length isn't one of them. I haven't completed it yet, but can definitely see wanting to play well beyond just rolling credits once.

I'm generally not a huge roguelike fan (i.e. I dislike Spelunky, Binding of Isaac, etc.), but I did love Hades, Dead Cells, & Children of Morta. This game definitely sits up there with those three; I wish I had more time to focus on it.

I got it "Condition: Used - Like New" from amazon warehouse with and extra 25% off this morning. It came to $38ish with tax, so about half off. I don't see anymore of those.

It is but I also agree that it didn't have much variety compared to many roguelikes. biome 3 is basically a different time of day of biome 1 . Not alot of enemy variety either. I felt it should of been 50 at launch and defintely could use some dlc levels ( for free) very interesting setting/ story /sound and fantastic atmosphere though.

I unlocked the Platinum Trophy in 78 hours. I finished the main campaign in under 30 hours. If you played Nex Machina, you'll fit right in with this game.

My favorite game in a good long while. I'd buy it again at 70.

I agree with him, very little replayability after you finish all 3 acts.

For what it's worth I ended up selling my copy and not liking the game at all. I am one of those casual gamers who like to have fun and need saves I guess. The game felt too hard for me to enjoy casually. Guess I suck at games.

You don't need to save, as you can exit and come back. You'll either make through the run (e.g. beat boss, get permanent key) or not. I rented from gamefly, beat it and sent it packing. Had a great time.
