USPA6800 and A8 Serenity head to head:

USPA - higher washing pressure
A8 - steel washing head/tip (vs plastic)
A8 - water heats faster
A8 - ~$100 more when on sale
About the same feature wise otherwise

The seat on my 6800 cracked and stopped being a "soft close lid," returned.
The gears on the A8 washing head wore out, so it has problems retracting - returning.

Buying another 6800 to replace it and not really miffed about it at all.
Finally convinced my wife we should get this a few months ago and it's been a very good purchase! The seat warmer and warm water are really good and for us, the water pressure is more than enough to blast our bottoms clean.

The only disadvantage is now I don't like to use bathrooms that don't have bidets. I just feel so... unclean.

It's a fairly easy installation process and set up is basically preset where you can make minor adjustment to fine tune the direction and pressure.
Not sure what's up with the downvotes. In the same position here

I really need to install a GFCI next to my toilet so I can buy this damn thing... lol. Kind of a hard job though when my walls are stuffed full of insulation.
In my case my bathroom walls are tiled with really thick tiles (but I could then easily splice a wire I know is inside the wall behind the toilet). Sigh...

Not everyone weighs the same. Or is the same height. If a heavier, taller person sits, they generate more force due to greater acceleration as they squat to the seat than someone that's short.
I bet you some of these people who are cracking their seats are just plopping themselves down instead of sitting normally.

BioBidet products don't last. I've had 2 bidets die in 3 years. The first was out of warranty and the 2nd I warrantied it, paying 25%, and they returned it without fixing the problem.

The problems I've had are failing water pressure in both bidets and the heated seat in the first bidet that stopped heating.

Close to $0.60 per day just based on our purchase price.

That's good. I wish I didn't have so many problems. I love having a bidet but the cost is beginning to feel too high. I'd hate to switch to a cheap cold one but it'll get the job done.

Stay away from this company. Terrible customer service. Crack seat hinge less than 1 year. Contacted them 1 day after the ship date and they only cover 75% of the cost since they counted as year 2 based on ship date. I might have to remove mine and return to Costco for refund since I'm not happy with their terrible warranty service. Costco in warehouse has toro for 319 with 50 off. Anyone have experience with that model ? Thanks

Bio bidet sucks. Unreliable. If you want a good bidet, pay more for a Toto and get your money's worth

We owned this one and it was good, but the lid broke after accidentally leaning back. If your toilet tank lays back too far be very careful with it.

Anyone know if this is a "quiet close" seat?

I've had the exact same two problems with my 6800 though Lid is our fault. Not brave enough to haul it into the store. Sooner spend $200 to avoid that lol.

Yes. Until your kid sits on the lid.

my bio bidet A8 Serenity has a very small seat opening and the water pressure is low. Would this model be better? Or how about the very popular BB-1000 model? Their website neither mentions the dimension of the seat opening nor the water pressure.

This is so hyped but I bought 2 of them the last time they were on sale and they blast your butt with cold water before it heats up. Toto C200 I have does not have this issue. Makes no damn sense.

I hope they are good enough to protect just one bidet seat each. Per the review they would not honor the warranty if the protection fails to work...
Yeah, imagine a mild electric shock one of these days from a bidet spray….
Hope that gave you a good laugh..
Yeah but seriously though… think about it…
