A tip I use and read on previous oatmeal posts is to mix 50/50 with instant plain Quaker oats. Accomplishes same thing.

Thanks, the original posting was OoS. But I got the variety pack for $6.24. Kids like that more anyways.

I use these plain and then add a Protein Shake scoop to it for the flavor. Comes out to be VERY LOW SUGAR with great flavor and the benefit of more Protein. I shop at MyProtein for my protein needs and have used Vanilla, Maple Syrup, Cinnamon Roll, and Salted Caramel with all great results.

A question I usually get about this is whether or not it "drys" out the oatmeal due to adding the powder. I find that it typically does NOT. I think that's due to the fact that the protein has emulsifiers, etc to help it breakup and mix well. If it does for you, just add a little extra water at the beginning.

I was able to order it just now at $6.83 with checked coupon, prime deal at checkout and 5% S&S. Not sure why others said it was out of stock. I guess the instant one may be cheaper and much easier to make but this is supposed to be healthier and taste better? anyone agree/disagree? you can always adding things like cinnamon, honey and blueberries to make it taste better while still remaining healthy and I also add chia seeds which are essentially tasteless, but add lots of health benefits.
