Good alternative to Google Photos (unfortunately not as good search/AI). Full-quality photo storage is free and unlimited for Prime members, but video is limited to 5GB total. I've turned off video uploads in the app.

And opening in incognito tells me "sign in to see if you're eligible"

Google photos search feature is open and if you have an Android phone the seamless integration is great. Amazon I'm sure is fine but judging by how crappy their software is, I won't waste my time. Alexa vs Google is night and day difference in terms of user experience. I'd go with Google and pay $2-4 bucks a month for the convenience

Google original quality is expensive if you take photos often. This is the only free unlimited original quality service available now

No if you tape more > upload photo and videos you can select the ones you want to upload. This is on iOS. Amazon didn't make me upload more than 1 picture last time a similar deal was around.

Not eligible...not sure why as it's a Prime account I opened a few weeks ago, never used Photos before. The only thing I can think of is that it is student prime.

How can you tell if you are/aren't eligible?

When I click the link it just takes me to the general information page with steps on how to get the credit but no mention on whether I'm eligible or not. Thanks for any help

What does it mean when it says available on certain devices when I load the app. But I'm able to load the app on my mobile phone through the actual Google app Store will I still get the promotion

I did this already before when it was a $10 credit, but when they gave it to me, it was $10 off a $25 order ships from and sold by Amazon and they gave me something like 1 month to use it and I let it expire Frown what a waste. Could have saved for this!

Sweet, worked for me. Random free backup of photos is also good, too. $15 credit for this, plus $10 credit for loading the "gift card" makes this a pretty good Prime Day. Just wish those credits were available for the Prime Day deals.
