The controls and settings take a bit of getting use to because its setup more like a huge cellphone than a TV than I was used to.You will have to download the appropriate apps to the TV to get the channel mix and setup you want.
The settings will allow you to customize the picture settings from all input sources to what you feel most comfortable with. It will even remember the settings for individual channels in your lineup. As for brightness? Its very bright picture viewing from any angle. Even in bright sunlight, the picture is very clear.
Overall, I love my TV. It's huge, and I got mine at a steal of a price.
