Yeah I've been eyeing the boombox for awhile and haven't seen a sale like this in a long time. I think SD'ers got anchored to the jbl sale at Best Buy last year, so I wouldn't expect much love for this deal

I would probably get 2 of the W-King X10 over this. I have the JBL Xtreme and the W-King X10 and they are so close that it is hard to justify the cost of the JBLs anymore.

I had a W-King 50w speaker before and the speaker froze.all lights stayed on. Would not connect Bluetooth 3rd day I had it. Would not power off. Had to return it.

Also, the audio quality was terrible, but sounds like the model you got is much better?

do you have a link to the x10 model?

How much was it last year at best buy?

Yeah so far I really like it. I compared it to the JBL Xtreme that I have and it is hard to tell the difference when running an eq app. For right around $100 I cannot see buying the JBL. I ordered it figuring that I would just send it back after comparing it. I was gonna get the newer JBL. Instead I am keeping the X10 and may get another to pair together. Although I am able to play both together within android media with a very slight difference/delay between the two. When I move them apart you can't tell at all so I may just stick with the two I have.

Thanks! Got it wking 70w (looks much better than the 50w), the jbl extreme. So you have to use equalizeron the wking to sound on par with the jbl?

I feel like I can get it sounding best with an eq app. Mainly raising bass and highs leaving mids in the middle. I guess depends on the music. I use Spotify premium so it is a good enough quality source.

Pretty damn good deal ! The boom box 2 still sells for $500, and isn't much better than this one
