! I've been looking around for a 12000W generator and found this Pulsar with dual fuel that can be swapped between gas and propane without having to turn off the generator. I haven't found any others within this price range.Updated Pricing to $859 at Walmart plus $49.97 equals a total of $908.97. Home Depot's has the same model which is $891.89 which ends up being cheaper after Walmart shipping. Another member has stated they were able to get Home Depot to price match the Walmart pricing with free shipping. Also, Sam's Club has it for $899 with free shipping. Check to see if you have any 5% cash back cards for either store to get a best discount since they are all close in total cost.

for some reason i was thinking the G12KBN was the df version. Seems only difference i can find is the switch in go to switch fuel sources. both df, both electric start, both low oil shutoff.

I still pulled the trigger since Home Depot also had it on sale for $891 but just increased their cost up to $936 about an hour ago. I was arguing with their customer service to try and match Walmart haha

I personally have an inverter generator to power electronics but some people seem to be fine not worrying about it and run whatever they want without much issue

I got tired of looking and just decided to roll the dice like the rest of crap these days.
A generac /briggs/ kohler standby would be better choice, home standby's in this wattage don't seem badly priced considering you get sound weather enclosure, self test, can go auto switch etc. However they're lpg or ng only...and my house runs off the lpg I don't want to dig into that supply at a high burn rate except as last resort after exausting the lpg tanks and gas supply.

the small ones aren't too bad comparatively assuming these larger gas bangers at 30% more $ than they were crap out soon. But yeah no availability. It'll add up if you start trying to rig up an enclosure of some type too, the gap narrows. There's code too about having gas gens too close to the house as well. Some of the enclosures i see people rigging up gas generators right next to the house seems nuts
