Ok, I'll bite. You at least give the impression that you play, so riddle me this - have you ever used a yardage book, looked for yardage markers, paced one off? If so, you're doing exactly what this device does, but with point, shoot and hit, a range finder does it much faster and - listen closely - greatly improves the pace of play. That's why the PGA of America has sanctioned their use in PGA events. The USGA isn't far behind.

I know ten guys like you at my club - talk a great game, but it's all blather, spend five minutes looking for a marker and pacing off yardage, only to hit a worm burner 40 yards into the rough. No one wants to play with them, no one wants to hang out with them.

Do NOT put this in the OP, but this appears to be a small price/discount mistake. The $20 discount is being added twice to an item that I believe is already incorrectly discounted. Hell of a find OP

I'm down to a 3 handicap, my club requires a shirt with collar, love drinking a nice cold beer during and after a round and been using a range finder ever since they became legal. Most Private golf clubs, including mine, always have a few snobs like yourself. Now pull them knickers up and get out there and enjoy lifeSmilie

I believe that requires courses to be preloaded, and I'm 99.9% positive it wasn't less than $120. It also gives center of green measurements if I'm not mistaken, which is not the same as exact distance to flag.

Was 69.99 and gives me at least front back center of green and can move flag around as well as everything else the watch does. Takes 30 seconds to download any course to your phone.

I am not a good enough golfer to be that precise with a finder and doubt more than 5% of people on here are either

do they do anything else special or just super accurate?

I have a garmin S62 but I also use a rangefinder. No, I'm not a great golfer, but I need all the (psychological) help I can get. Lol.
